Warehouse Operative Job Description

Our client, a leading injection moulding company based in Middleton, is seeking a skilled Warehouse Operative to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate forklift trucks (FLT) to move stock and materials around the warehouse.
  • Load and unload vehicles, both scheduled and unscheduled, throughout the day.
  • Pick and check orders, ensuring accurate paperwork and dispatch.
  • Manage stock rotation using a FIFO (First-In-First-Out) system.
  • Prepare and store tooling in the warehouse.
  • Conduct monthly stock checks, accurately recording and labelling stock.
  • Assist in other areas of the factory as required.

Requirements:

  • Valid FLT licence.
  • Counterbalance FLT licence (in-house H&S valid).
  • Experience in a warehouse environment, with a focus on stock control.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 07:00 am to 05:00 pm, with a 15-minute paid break and 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
