As a Care Assistant at Avery Healthcare's Butlers Mews Care Home in Rugby, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional personal care to our residents. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others and be part of a close-knit team that values respect, compassion, and a shared commitment to outstanding care.
Key Responsibilities- Assist residents with their personal hygiene care, ensuring optimum independence, dignity, and respect for each individual.
- Recognize and understand clinical risk areas in residents, such as weight loss, pressure sores, risk of falls, and signs of infections, and escalate any identified risks in a timely manner.
- Act courteously towards residents and their visitors, respecting the dignity and individuality of each resident.
- Practice safe systems of work across a range of tasks.
To be successful in your application, you should live our values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable in all that you do. Experience is not required, as we offer a comprehensive induction and training program to ensure confidence within the role.
Requirements- The ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Demonstrate initiative and respect towards residents and other people in the home.
- Be an efficient worker who can carry reasonable instructions from other team members.
- Be able to adapt and be flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.
We offer a competitive salary of £22,000 - £24,000 per annum, depending on experience.
