About the Opportunity

As an Early Years Apprentice at our Hyde Day Nursery in Barnet, UK, you will work closely with experienced staff to develop your skills and knowledge, while also contributing to the delivery of exceptional childcare services.

The nursery is registered for 88 children and offers easy access to local transport links. Your primary responsibilities will include supporting the development of children's physical, intellectual, social, and emotional needs, as well as ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement engaging experiences, environments, and resources that cater to children's diverse needs and interests.
  2. Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues, promoting a sense of community and belonging.
  3. Maintain accurate records of children's progress and contribute to ongoing assessments and evaluations.
  4. Participate in staff meetings and contribute to decision-making processes that impact the nursery's policies and procedures.
  5. Adhere to the statutory framework for the Early Years Curriculum and maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices in early years education.
