Residential Property Solicitor Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential Property Solicitor to join our thriving team at Douglas Scott Legal Recruitment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for handling a diverse range of residential property matters, including sales, purchases, re-mortgages, and transfers of equity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a busy caseload of residential property transactions, ensuring timely and efficient completion.
  • Provide expert advice to clients on residential property law, including conveyancing, property development, and property finance.
  • Work closely with colleagues to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and other professionals in the industry.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in residential property law and regulations, ensuring compliance and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of three years post-qualification experience as a Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive, or Licensed Conveyancer.
  • Proven experience in residential property law, including handling complex transactions and providing expert advice.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
