Mental Health Support Worker Role in Bristol

Our all-through school provides a unique environment for young people with social, emotional and mental health complexities.

We are seeking graduates to support children aged 5-16 with behaviour and mental health issues, providing them with the best possible chance to succeed.

  • Job Title: Mental Health Support Worker
  • Supporting Children with Behavioural Challenges
  • Estimated Salary: £34,000 - £40,000 per annum
  • Working Hours: Full-time (Mon-Fri, 8:30am-4pm)

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SEN and mental health, and be able to communicate effectively with children and professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Developing and implementing individualised support plans for children
  2. Collaborating with therapists and psychologists to ensure comprehensive support
  3. Working closely with teachers and other staff members to provide seamless support

Requirements:

  • Level 3 qualifications or above
  • Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Psychology, Counselling)
  • Experience working with SEN children and/or adults
