Part-Time Culinary Expert

We are seeking an ambitious Part-Time Culinary Expert to join our team on a part-time basis, contracted to 21 hours per week. As a Weekend Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and serving exceptional food experiences that delight our clients and customers.
About the Role
In this role, you will oversee the preparation of high-quality food, implement menu changes, and identify opportunities to improve our food services. You will also listen to customer feedback, support the creation of new menus, and represent our brand in a positive light.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights our clients and customers
- Overseeing and implementing menu changes
- Identifying opportunities to improve our food services
- Listening and acting on customer feedback to consistently improve our food services
- Supporting with the creation of new menus and creative food concepts
- Representing Compass Group UK & Ireland and maintaining a positive brand image
- Monitoring inventories to keep our kitchens well-stocked
- Overseeing kitchen cleaning responsibilities to maintain hygiene standards
- Complying with Food Handling, Hygiene and Health and Safety regulations
Requirements
- A City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent qualification
- Experience supervising a team
- Experience in a similar Chef role
- A flexible approach to working
