About the Opportunity

We are seeking a talented researcher to join our team at the Oxford Long-Term Ecology Lab and contribute to our understanding of the impact of BVOCs on human health.

This fixed-term position is funded by the Leverhulme Trust and offers a unique opportunity to develop and lead a research programme focused on the effects of BVOCs in urban greenspaces.

As an Environmental Health Specialist, you will work closely with our team to design and implement methodologies to measure and analyse BVOCs, and collaborate with researchers and academics to advance knowledge in this area.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead a research programme focused on BVOCs and their impact on human health.
  • Design and implement methodologies to measure and analyse BVOCs.
  • Cultivate relationships with external partners and stakeholders to advance knowledge and applications.

What You Need

  • PhD/DPhil in a relevant subject such as environmental science, public health, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of managing academic research and associated activities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
