Environmental Geophysics Position at Thewaternetwork

Thewaternetwork seeks an environmental geophysics expert to contribute to our research efforts. This role combines a joint appointment at St Hugh's College and membership of its governing body.

\

We are looking for a geophysicist with expertise in environmental geosciences, including natural hazards, the cryosphere, water resources, soil science, and green-energy resources. The successful candidate will have a doctorate in geophysics and a strong track record of research collaboration.

\

Main duties include conducting cutting-edge research, participating in departmental and college-wide initiatives, and teaching, supervising, and examining students. We welcome applications from diverse candidates and offer a competitive salary and benefits package.

\

The estimated annual salary is £55,000 - £75,000, depending on experience. A possible £3,078 allowance may be payable upon promotion.
