Exciting Opportunity for Administrative Support

An exciting opportunity has arisen for candidates to join the Urology Team at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust as an Administrative Specialist. This role will involve providing administrative support to the team, ensuring a smooth patient pathway and high-quality patient experience.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to the clinical teams, ensuring efficient patient management in accordance with referral to treatment targets and agreed timescales.
  • Respond to telephone and email enquiries from patients, carers, and external parties in a polite and professional manner, maintaining accurate records and taking appropriate action in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that letters and other relevant documentation reach the appropriate people within agreed timeframes, recording all correspondence on the Trust's patient administration system.
  • Book and reschedule appointments as required.
  • Receive post and deal with routine correspondence, undertaking follow-up action as directed by the administration manager.
  • Utilise computerised tracking systems to locate case notes and investigation results.
  • Maintain patient information on the appropriate patient information system.

  • Good interpersonal skills.
