Career Teachers is seeking a Newly Qualified Primary Teacher to join our supply bank and support with day-to-day and long-term supply roles in Leeds schools.

We offer flexible working patterns to fit around a busy lifestyle, with the option to work full or part-time hours.

As a Primary Teacher, you will work with children aged 5-11 in a classroom setting, implementing daily routines and providing support to pupils with special educational needs (SEN).

Key responsibilities include:
  • Implementing the National Curriculum and developing engaging lesson plans
  • Assessing pupil progress and providing feedback
  • Supporting pupils with SEN and working with the SENCO to develop Individual Education Plans
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve school goals


Requirements:
  • 5 GCSEs at grades 9-4 (A*-C) or equivalent, including English, Maths, and Science
  • Undergraduate Education Degree or a degree in any subject with a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) or Professional Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE)
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Previous in-school teaching experience
  • Fluent level of English, both spoken and written
