About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Primary SEND Teacher to join our team at Ormston School in Leeds. As a Primary SEND Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment for our pupils with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach a range of subjects to pupils with special educational needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans to meet the needs of each pupil
  • Work closely with other teachers and support staff to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment
  • Provide regular progress updates to parents and carers

Requirements

  • Qualified teacher with experience of teaching pupils with special educational needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Passion for creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment
