Job Title: Year 5 Teacher

Job Description:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 5 Teacher to join our team in Blackburn. This role has the potential to extend until the end of the academic year, providing a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact in a supportive school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Key Stage 2 curriculum.

Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages academic achievement and personal growth.

Use effective behaviour management strategies to maintain a well-organized and focused classroom.

Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and targeted support where needed.

Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to teaching and learning.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with relevant teaching experience in Key Stage 2, ideally in Year 5.

Strong classroom management and behaviour management skills.

Passion for teaching and commitment to nurturing each child's potential.

Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
