We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Postdoctoral Research Assistant to join our team at the University of Oxford.
The successful candidate will be part of the Circular Economy and Sustainability Lab, working on the Circular Electrical and Electronics Programme, which aims to develop systems and engineering design solutions to enable a Circular Economy for Electrical and Electronic Equipment (EEE).
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and analyze the full-lifecycle systems barriers, enablers, and leverage points to transition to a low-carbon Circular Economy for EEE.
- Develop and evaluate novel circular product-service systems and related circular business models for EEE, leveraging emerging technologies and new behavioral insights.
- Understand how to mainstream behaviors around reduce, reuse, repair, and recycling of EEE and raise awareness and improve consumer access to circular economy solutions through public engagement and citizen science.
Requirements:
- PhD/DPhil in Design, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Sufficient specialist knowledge in the discipline to work within the established research programme.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a larger team.
