Postdoctoral Research Assistant Opportunity

Oxford Brookes University is seeking a highly skilled Postdoctoral Research Assistant to join our team on a prestigious research project. The successful candidate will work closely with our project team to conduct a mixed methods study exploring the views and experiences of never smokers with lung cancer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the qualitative interview and focus group phase of the study
  • Recruit participants and collect, analyse, and evaluate data
  • Work collaboratively with the project team and stakeholders
  • Develop recommendations for best practice in patient care

Requirements:

  • PhD in a relevant field or close to completion
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Experience in qualitative and/or mixed methods health or social care research
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

About the Role:

This is a part-time (0.8 FTE) position for a period of twelve months. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to a high-profile research project and work with a talented team of researchers. We offer a friendly and professional working environment and a range of benefits.
