Job Title: Postdoctoral Research Assistant

Oxford Brookes University is seeking a highly skilled Postdoctoral Research Assistant to join our team on a research project exploring the views and experiences of never smokers with lung cancer.

About the Project

The project aims to identify the informational, care, and support needs of never smokers with lung cancer and develop recommendations for best practice that prioritize patient experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct and deliver a mixed methods study consisting of a systematic review, online survey, and interviews and focus groups with never smokers, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders.
  • Coordinate the qualitative interview and focus group phase of the study, recruiting participants, and collecting, analyzing, and evaluating data.
  • Work alongside other project team members and collaborators to implement and run the project.
Requirements
  • PhD in a relevant field or close to completion.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Previous experience in health or social care research.
