Head of Finance, HR, and Operations

A unique opportunity exists for a highly skilled finance professional to join a leading charity recruitment specialist as Head of Finance and HR. This role combines financial leadership with human resources expertise, making it an ideal fit for someone with a strong background in both areas.
">The successful applicant will have significant experience in finance, preferably in a charity setting, along with expertise in HR functions such as managing relationships with consultants. A solid understanding of financial management and accounting processes is essential, as well as excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with external auditors.
Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 per annum (dependent on experience). The position is based in a hybrid working environment, with 2 days spent in the office per week.
About the Role
- Lead the charity's finance function, ensuring effective financial planning, monitoring, and reporting.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to enhance the charity's income generation, efficient operation, and future financial security.
- Manage relationships with external auditors, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
- Prepare annual budgets and multi-year forecasts in consultation with the Chief Executive and Hon Treasurer.
- Liaise with HR consultants to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the charity's goals.
Key Responsibilities

Requirements
- Significant experience in finance within the charity sector, preferably in a similar role.
- Expertise in HR functions, including managing relationships with consultants.
- Strong understanding of financial management and accounting processes.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work effectively with external auditors.
