Job Summary:

Rise Technical Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our client's team in the Orkney Islands. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the testing process for wave and tidal energy devices created by our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing testing services for wave and tidal generating devices, including participating in technology design reviews.
  • Working with clients to solve problems of an electrical or technical nature and providing performance-related data and reports to assist with the design and operation of these devices.
  • Implementing equipment and systems maintenance plans within budgets.
  • Managing the operation of the organisation's electrical systems by working closely with Electrical Engineers and Contractors.

Requirements:

  • HV background with previous responsibility for isolations, switching, and similar activities.
  • Degree educated in a technical or electrical/electronic discipline (HNC/HND would be considered).
  • Willing to relocate to the Orkney Islands.
