Job Description

**Project Engineer - Process Systems Specialist**

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team at Edwin James Group. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of mechanical projects, including pipework systems, vessels, and multi-disciplined projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning and Execution: Develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with project activities.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and labor, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Procurement and Supply Chain Management: Source and procure materials and equipment required for project delivery.
  • Cost Management: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and value engineering.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations, including the Supply of Machinery Directive.
  • Project Monitoring and Control: Track project progress, identify and address deviations, and implement corrective actions as needed.

Requirements

  • Education and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical project engineering, with a focus on pipework systems and vessels.
  • Skills and Competencies: Strong technical knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, excellent communication and project management skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
