**Project Engineer - Process Systems Specialist**
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team at Edwin James Group. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of mechanical projects, including pipework systems, vessels, and multi-disciplined projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning and Execution: Develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with project activities.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations, including the Supply of Machinery Directive.
- Communication and Collaboration: Liaise with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and labor, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Cost Management: Develop and manage project budgets, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and value engineering.
- Project Monitoring and Control: Track project progress, identifying and addressing any deviations from the plan.
- Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports and records.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical project engineering, with a focus on pipework systems and vessels.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, including design, risk assessment, and quality assurance. Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Project.
