Project Engineer Job Description

Musk Process Services, a leading provider of integrated building and facilities management services, is seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join their team. As a Project Engineer, you will play a vital role in the delivery of physical and technical elements of projects, working closely with the Engineering and Project Management teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement RAMS (Risk Assessment & Method Statements) for site project activities.
  2. Support the delivery team with mechanical delivery process pipework systems, vessels, and multi-disciplined projects.
  3. Understand and interpret project requirements, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery.
  4. Attend and contribute to project start-up meetings, progress reviews, and design meetings.
  5. Contribute to project planning, tracking progress, and procuring materials and equipment.
  6. Undertake site surveys and produce sketches to aid costing or design.
  7. Identify and capture project variations, ensuring cost reduction and value engineering.
  8. Collaborate with Musk departments, including Engineering, Manufacturing, Labour, and the supply chain.
  9. Work with clients' team members, attending regular meetings and ensuring project deliverables meet specifications.
  10. Liaise with and coordinate subcontractors, such as insulation, electrical, and structural teams.
Requirements:
  1. Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
  2. Knowledge of Design Risk Assessment and experience working in hygienic industries.
  3. Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Project or similar software.
  4. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  5. GCSE C or higher in Maths & English.
