Structural Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our team in Newcastle. As a Structural Engineer, you will work on a variety of building structures projects across Residential, Commercial, Marine, and Industrial sectors.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and previous experience working in a design environment. You will be proficient in AutoCAD and have a working knowledge of concrete and masonry design. Experience with TEDDS/Fastrak and/or Revit is also beneficial.

The successful candidate will be a positive and enthusiastic team player with strong communication skills. You will work closely with our expert team of Structural Engineers to deliver high-quality projects from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop structural elements for building structures projects
  • Collaborate with the design team to deliver high-quality projects
  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver solutions
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of building codes and regulations
  • Contribute to the development of new ideas and innovations in structural engineering

Requirements:

  • Strong degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Previous experience working in a design environment
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and familiar with concrete and masonry design
  • Experience with TEDDS/Fastrak and/or Revit is beneficial
  • Positive and enthusiastic team player with strong communication skills
