We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mental Health Practitioner to join our team at the Asylum and Refugee Clinic (ARC). As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with children and young people who have experienced traumatic journeys and are presenting with PTSD.
Main Responsibilities- Provide direct highly specialist psychotherapeutic assessments and interventions for children with PTSD and adult networks, adhering to NICE guidelines and best practice evidence.
- Collaborate with staff from other agencies in direct work with children and young people and their families.
- Produce clinical reports within agreed time scales for individual assessments.
- Contribute to clinical governance, service improvement, and effective team functioning with the Clinical Lead and Service Manager.
- Participate in regular reviews of cases and attend case discussions, conferences, and reviews as necessary.
- Attend Service and Team Meetings, CAMHS, and Trust Wide as required.
- Contribute to relevant CAMHS, Trust, and Cross-agency working groups at the request of the Clinical Lead.
- Assist management in staff recruitment, retention, and provide staff supervision.
- Engage in clinical supervision to conform with clinical risk management requirements and professional registration.
- Participate in audit activity and lead audit activity within the multidisciplinary team when requested.
- Provide activity data on a regular basis.
