Kier Professional Services (KPS) is the engineering consultancy division of Kier Group, providing design solutions, technical advice, and engineering support to all our business units. Our team of experienced engineers has extensive knowledge in designing and checking Temporary Works for projects of all sizes and across various sectors.

We are seeking a skilled Senior Engineer to join our team in Norwich. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil and structural engineering, with experience in Temporary Works design and checking.

**Responsibilities**

The Senior Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Designing and checking Temporary Works above and below ground, integrated with Permanent Works if applicable.
  • Delivering alternative solutions and value engineering to enhance Kier's reputation.
  • Supporting tender stages and bid-winning efforts, focusing on buildability, efficiency, and innovation.
  • Conducting technical assessments and reviews of third-party designs, ensuring compliance with client and Kier requirements.

**Requirements**

  • A Chartered Engineer or willingness to become Chartered.
  • Interest in Temporary Works Design or experience in this field.
  • A full UK driving license is required.
