Assistant Facilities Operations Manager

Our client, a leading Property Management company, is seeking an experienced Assistant Facilities Operations Manager to join their prestigious team based in an iconic building in the City.

The ideal candidate will have a background in Facilities Management and have worked for either a Property Maintenance company or a Service Provider where you will have managed Soft Services including Reception, Service Desk, Administration, Cleaning, and Security services for a large Multi Tenanted Building.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Manage Service Desk, Cleaning, Administration, and Security Services for the Building
  2. Ensure a consistent, high-quality service to all Occupiers and Tenants in the Building in accordance with Lease Obligations
  3. Oversee the Service Desk facility ensuring issues are dealt with accordingly and matters are reported
  4. Engage with Operational Teams to ensure everything is running smoothly
  5. Plan and chair Contractor Performance reviews and Tenant one-to-one meetings
  6. Lead by example and provide an operational service that is relevant and beneficial to the occupiers, visitors, and all other users of the property
  7. Build relationships and understand the tenants' needs
  8. Coordinate annual fire drills
  9. Support the company's strategies regarding the property
  10. Lead and manage small works
  11. Step up in the Operations Manager's absence and ensure everything is managed
  12. Supervise and motivate the Operations team to always ensure the best results
  13. Support and engage in the growth and development of the company
  14. Monitor and reconcile Service Charge Budget Lines and discuss with the Operations Manager
  15. Support the effective administration of contracts and purchase orders and PPMS
  16. Maintain and report records of expenditure and spending commitments
