We are seeking a qualified Secondary School Teacher to join our team at high schools in Cumbria. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching various subjects to Key Stage 3 and 4 students, with a focus on delivering engaging and interactive lessons that inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4 students, following the school's curriculum and assessment guidelines
- Create a positive and supportive learning environment that fosters students' academic, social, and emotional development
- Develop and implement strategies to support students with different learning styles and abilities, including those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)
- Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback and support as necessary to help students achieve their full potential
- Participate in extra-curricular activities, such as after-school clubs and school events, as required
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
- Excellent subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging and interactive lessons that meet the needs of all learners
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents
- A commitment to continuous professional development and keeping up-to-date with the latest teaching
