We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Information Security Strategist to join our team at Crone Corkill. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a global organisation as they embark on a significant Information Security maturity journey.

As a Chief Information Security Strategist, you will be responsible for leading the Information Security function, ensuring that it remains compliant with ISO27001, Cyber Essentials, and NIST. You will also be responsible for managing the risk management lifecycle, ensuring that policies, processes, and procedures are maintained and updated, and conducting various Information Security assessments.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Developing and implementing Information Security policies and procedures
  • Managing the risk management lifecycle, including risk assessments and mitigation strategies
  • Ensuring compliance with ISO27001, Cyber Essentials, and NIST
  • Leading the Information Security team and providing guidance and support as needed
  • Collaborating with the Technology team to ensure that Information Security is integrated into all aspects of the business

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Extensive experience in Information Security, including ISO27001, Cyber Essentials, and NIST
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Knowledge of risk management principles and practices
  • Ability to think critically and strategically, with a focus on continuous improvement

You will also have the chance to make a meaningful contribution to the success of the organisation, while enjoying a competitive salary of £55,000 - £60,000 per annum.
