We are seeking a skilled Commercial Claims Handler to manage large-loss domestic and commercial claims from start to finish.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team in Nottinghamshire, where you will be responsible for ensuring claims are handled efficiently and stakeholders are kept informed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage claims from first notice of loss (FNOL) to invoicing, coordinating all aspects of the claims process.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and resolution.
- Conduct thorough investigations and assessments to determine claim validity and liability.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including underwriting, risk management, and customer service, to ensure claims are handled in a timely and professional manner.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulatory requirements, and best practices to ensure compliance and excellence in claims handling.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in commercial claims handling, preferably in the insurance industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
