Location: Nottinghamshire (Hybrid 2 days in the office)
Indesure Recruitment is on the lookout for a proficient Commercial Claims Handler to oversee substantial domestic and commercial claims from inception to resolution. You will join a vibrant team in Nottinghamshire, ensuring that claims are processed effectively and that all parties involved are kept informed throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee claims from First Notification of Loss (FNOL) to invoicing, coordinating all elements of Buildings and Contents.
- Establish and maintain claims documentation, providing regular updates throughout the claims lifecycle.
- Monitor company communications, ensuring that systems, personnel, and management are kept updated.
- Engage proactively with all stakeholders during the claims process.
- Document, manage, and track resolutions for complaints.
- Schedule appointments and ensure that all necessary authorizations and permits are obtained promptly.
- Organize and supervise work, ensuring that deadlines are adhered to.
- Issue purchase orders, ensuring alignment with the approved scope of work.
- Act promptly on all reports, addressing issues before they escalate into formal complaints.
What We Are Seeking:
- Exceptional communication abilities, both written and verbal.
- Experience with Business Interruption, Loss of Rent, Plant and Machinery, and Alternative Accommodation claims.
- Strong decision-making and prioritization capabilities.
- Highly organized, efficient, and capable of working independently or collaboratively.
- Ability to navigate challenging situations with composure.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- GCSE Maths & English at grade C/Level 4 (mandatory).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in property insurance claims.
- Chartered Insurance Institute Certificate in Insurance.
- Valid UK Driving Licence.
- Strong persuasive communication skills.
