Key Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Payroll and Bookkeeping Clerk to join our team at Quinton Davies. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for:

  1. Liaising with clients to ensure accurate payroll processing.
  2. Maintaining accurate financial records using software such as Xero, Sage, Excel, and QuickBooks.
  3. Providing exceptional customer service by responding to client queries.
  4. Processing tax and allowances.
  5. Ensuring compliance with pension auto-enrolment regulations.
  6. Managing payroll and bank credits.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  1. Previous experience in payroll administration and bookkeeping, preferably in an accountancy practice environment.
  2. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  3. Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and payroll software.
