About the Role

Falmouth Fairfax Real Estate Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Building Surveyor to join our client's dynamic team in Birmingham. As a project biased Building Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in managing and enhancing the company's £1+ billion asset portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver asset enhancements, PPM, and CAPEX projects valued between £100,000 and c. £4 million.
  • Oversee external consultant teams providing professional building surveying services such as dilapidations.
  • Manage projects across the RIBA cycle, including new build, refurbishment, and maintenance projects.
  • Administer JCT contracts, licenses to alter, and professional dilapidation services.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve building data and implement future efficiencies.
Requirements
  • MRICS qualified with a Degree in Building Surveying.
  • Solid experience working across the RIBA 3 – 6 stages across a variety of new build, refurbishment, and maintenance projects.
  • Good JCT contracts administration, license to alter, and professional dilapidation experience.
  • Sector experience of industrial / logistics advantageous but not required.
  • Commercially astute with good stakeholder management and reporting skills.
  • Strong communication and organisation skills to work within a fast-paced environment.
