About the Job:
Trent & Dove Housing is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Caretaking Team Member to join our team. This role involves working in outdoor environments, using a variety of tools and equipment to maintain public spaces and refuse areas. You will be responsible for conducting litter picks, removing fly-tipped waste, clearing leaves and moss from pathways, gritting and snow clearance, hedge cutting, shrubbery maintenance, and garden clearances. You will also manage, maintain, and clean refuse areas, producing dynamic risk management documentation and carrying out regular checks and inspections of equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Caretaking Team Member, you will be responsible for:
1. Maintaining public spaces and refuse areas to ensure they remain clean and safe
2. Conducting regular checks and inspections of equipment to ensure it is in good working order
3. Producing dynamic risk management documentation to identify potential hazards and implement mitigation strategies
4. Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team objectives and improve overall service delivery
5. Communicating effectively with customers, partners, and members of the public to provide excellent customer service

Requirements:
We are looking for an individual with practical ability and a strong understanding of environmental awareness. Experience with site health and safety requirements and COSHH would be advantageous. You should have literacy and numeracy skills, be competent in using IT devices, and hold a full driving licence. Training and support will be provided where required. The estimated salary for this role is £23,760 per annum.
