Job Description: Front Desk Administrator

We are looking for a skilled and organized individual to fill the position of Front Desk Administrator at Acorn Training Ltd. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and administrative skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the reception area, welcome visitors, and update sign-in sheets.
  • Process correspondence, including phone calls, letters, and packages.
  • Record travel and participant expenses accurately and maintain auditable records.
  • Organize meetings, schedule appointments, and manage centre rooms.
  • Oversee catering for company events and accurately record spends.
  • Perform data entry, update records, and databases.
  • Communicate with staff for course referrals.
  • Communicate with staff regarding enrolments and attendance for courses.
  • Manage petty cash and reconcile.
  • Enrol students and set up assessments for training.
  • Check stock for refreshments, learning resources, and cleaning products.
  • Handle paperwork correctly, working within GDPR parameters.
Requirements:
  • GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths A-C/9-4 (essential).
  • Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills (essential).
  • NVQ Level 2 in customer service (desirable).
  • NVQ Level 2 in Administration (desirable).
  • IT qualification (desirable).
Experience:
  • Previous experience in a public-facing role (essential).
  • Experience of managing multiple tasks (essential).
  • Experience in financial management or dealing with petty cash (desirable).
