Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a significant supplier portfolio and drive turnover, working towards the department's KPIs.
  • Introduce new ideas and best practices to help drive the category management strategy to the next level.
  • Identify new product and supplier opportunities for the company's growing membership.
  • Work with the senior management team to develop strategy.
Requirements
  • Excellent category management experience with a proven record of implementing this within a business to create growth and opportunities.
  • Proven knowledge of working within the building material sector is preferred but not essential.
  • CIPS or qualified experience is advantageous but not essential.
  • Ability to negotiate and influence at a high level.
  • Target-driven approach to ensure deadlines are met.
