About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Pain Management Nurse Specialist to join our team at Barts Health NHS Trust. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with a passion for delivering high-quality patient care and making a positive impact on people's lives.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in acute and chronic pain management, as well as a strong understanding of the principles of pain management, including physiology, anatomy, pharmacology, and chronic disease management. They will also have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team.

As a Senior Pain Management Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for contributing to the development and delivery of pain management services across our trust. This will include developing and implementing pain management initiatives, facilitating the provision of seamless services, and promoting quality, evidence-based care to patients in accordance with local and trust policies.

You will also have the opportunity to develop your knowledge and skills within the inpatient and outpatient pain management service and be willing to develop your own skills through continuing professional development. Additionally, you will ensure effective communication throughout the trust to develop and build working relationships with other members of the multidisciplinary team to facilitate 'best practice' in the management of patients in acute and/or chronic pain.

We offer a competitive salary of £56,900 - £68,690 per annum, depending on experience. This role is based in east London, with access to excellent transport links and a range of amenities.
