The Role

We are seeking an experienced Machinist to join our Pattern Shop team on a night shift basis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operating three and five axis machines to produce high-quality composite and metallic components.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate three and five axis machines to produce complex components with precision and accuracy.
  • Ensure efficient and cost-effective production processes, minimizing lead times and maximizing quality.
  • Collaborate with production teams to meet demanding schedules and deadlines.
  • Maintain accurate records of work schedules and data.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve production goals.

Requirements

  • Recognized apprenticeship or relevant experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Good understanding of engineering models and technical drawings.
  • Self-motivated and able to work to deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and adapt to changing priorities.
