Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate Senior Care Professional in Yeovil to join our close-knit team. As a valued member, you will provide superior quality care to our clients, assisting them in leading dignified and independent lives within the comfort and safety of their own homes. Your role will involve becoming a trusted pillar of support, a source of joy, and a beacon of reliability in their lives, offering a service that extends beyond care to include respect, understanding, and genuine affection.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Personalized Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and grooming, respecting their personal preferences and maintaining their dignity.
  • Companionship: Create a warm yet professional relationship, being a friend who offers companionship, brightening their days with friendly chats and shared activities.
  • Household Assistance: Undertake light household duties including cleaning and laundry, creating a tidy and pleasant environment for clients to enjoy.
  • Meal Preparation: Assist in preparing nutritious meals, taking into account individual preferences and dietary requirements.
  • Mobility Assistance: Help clients with mobility and physical exercises, promoting a healthy lifestyle and encouraging physical well-being.
  • Medication Management: Support clients in adhering to medication regimes, handling prescriptions responsibly and ensuring their health is monitored.
  • Documentation: Diligently report and document daily care activities, communicating effectively with the team to ensure the best possible care.

Requirements:
  • Empathic Nature: A genuine desire to help others, embodying Home Instead's values in every interaction.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building trust and rapport with clients.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work harmoniously both independently and as part of a close-knit team.
  • Driving Licence: A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are desirable.

Estimated Salary: £22,000 - £28,000 per annum (dependent on experience) + excellent benefits package, Competitive salary based on the location and the level of experience.
