Job Summary

This exciting opportunity is available within our research department, where you will play a key role in developing and implementing quality improvement initiatives.

Person Specification

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A medical degree (MB BS or equivalent) and relevant postgraduate qualifications.
  • Experience in clinical research, quality improvement, and medical education.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels.

Desirable qualities include:

  • Qualification or higher degree in medical education, clinical research or management
  • Excellent clinical skills using bio-psycho-social perspective and wide medical knowledge
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English

The salary for this role is £70,000 per annum, based on a competitive scale. We offer a range of benefits, including access to training and development opportunities, a supportive work environment, and a chance to make a real difference to patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • To design and deliver training programmes for staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
  • To work closely with colleagues to achieve goals and objectives, contributing to the development and implementation of our research programme.

Requirements

  • MB BS or equivalent medical qualification
  • MRCPsych or equivalent
  • CCT in old age psychiatry or equivalent
  • Fully registered with the GMC with a licence to practise at the time of appointment
