Job Overview

As a Clinical Development Specialist at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the education and development of our nursing staff. This exciting opportunity will see you working closely with our Practice Development Nurse team to design, deliver, and evaluate training sessions and programs that cater to the needs of our neonatal unit.

Main Duties

  • Lead the development of education initiatives within the speciality, focusing on the neonatal unit.
  • Take responsibility for the in-service development of all nursing staff working within the area of speciality.
  • Provide leadership and motivation to establish clinical practices that are research/evidence-based.

Requirements

  • RN1/ RN2/ RN12 or RN Child Registered Nurse on the NMC register.
  • Practice teacher qualification.
  • Specialist professional knowledge of mentorship, education, and development practice to Masters level or equivalent.
