Technical Sales Engineer Opportunity

A leading distributor of niche electronic equipment is seeking a skilled Technical Sales Engineer to join their team. With over 50 years of experience, they offer world-class aftersales support and a wide range of product solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to deliver customer projects within agreed timescales and quality levels.
  • Respond to incoming enquiries on products, book meetings with customers, and hold product demonstrations at the showroom.
  • Build professional relationships with customers, from shop floor to director level, and manage the full sale from enquiry through to delivered machine.
  • Negotiate unit price, service, and spare part packages, and use Salesforce CRM system effectively to record all sales activities and pipeline management.
  • Maintain and look after all tools, equipment, devices, and company property.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience selling technical products, such as machinery, electrical products, or equipment supplied to the manufacturing industry.
  • The ability to demonstrate how to effectively solution sell in front of customers.
  • Effective time management and organization skills, a clean UK Drivers License, and flexibility to travel extensively.

A competitive starting salary of up to £35K, plus a realistic OTE of over £100K with monthly commission, a fully expensed company car & fuel card, 28 days holiday, company pension, credit card for expenses, and lots of product training on offer.
