Senior Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Accounts Manager to join our team at Public Practice Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for leading all activity relating to the preparation of statutory accounts for a varied portfolio of clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the preparation of statutory accounts for a diverse range of clients.
- Supervise and oversee the workflow of junior team members.
- Prepare and review management accounts for a variety of clients.
- Develop and maintain close partnerships with clients to prepare financial statements.
- Reconcile VAT Returns and rental accounts.
- Prepare and review tax computations.
- Provide business setup services to clients.
- Address ad hoc client queries and resolve problems.
- Deliver in-depth analysis for Partners to review before client meetings.
- Contribute to the financial goals and performance of the business.
- Nurture and coach junior team members.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and apply new knowledge to improve services.
- Support Managers and Partners with ad hoc duties as required.
- Contribute to business development initiatives.
