About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Voyage Care. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and support to individuals with autism, acquired brain injury, and complex mental health needs.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
  • Encourage individuals to access their local communities and engage in social activities.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement personalized care plans.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals, promoting their independence and confidence.

Requirements:

  • A full UK driving license is essential for this role.
  • Experience working with individuals with autism, acquired brain injury, and complex mental health needs.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and waking nights.
  • Resilience, flexibility, and a composed approach to challenging situations.
  • Knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice.
