About The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team in the beautiful region of North East England. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with vulnerable adults, providing person-centred care and making a real difference in their lives.

Job Description:

This is a flexible shift-based position, allowing you to choose your working hours and maintain a healthy work-life balance. Our clients require assistance with daily living activities, including meal preparation, personal care, and general support. We also have opportunities to develop skills in dementia and Alzheimer's care, mental health support, and working with individuals with learning disabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting service users at meal times
  • Providing personal care and general day-to-day assistance
  • Supporting individuals with dementia and Alzheimer's disease
  • Working with people who have mental health needs and neurological impairments
  • Delivering palliative/end-of-life care and supporting those with cancer
