Job Title: Finance Assistant

Our client, a leading regeneration charity, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join their team. As a key member of the Finance Team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the organization's financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process sales invoices for funding, rental, and room hire, ensuring accurate coding and entry into the Sage accounting package.
  • Monitor outstanding invoices, sending statements and making follow-up calls to ensure timely payment.
  • Verify invoices against purchase orders to ensure accuracy.
  • Provide excellent customer service to project teams, responding to queries and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist with the year-end audit, ensuring all financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve shared goals and objectives.
  • Perform general filing, scanning, and other special finance tasks as required.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in an office role, preferably in finance or accounting.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • A strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • A willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and systems.
  • Experience with Excel and accounting software is a plus.
