The Role

Job Description

Arm is seeking a skilled software engineer to join its Streamline developer tools team, which provides rich data visualizations in the host tool. The ideal candidate will have a proven understanding of Java or modern C++ and will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the next generation of Arm's performance analysis tools for Arm CPUs.

Strategy & Ecosystems (STE) is a global team that helps customers craft creative and energy-efficient Arm-Powered products. Our mission is to build or enable tools that improve Arm system performance, productivity, or time to market.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain performance analysis tools
  • Collaborate with engineers from different backgrounds and customers worldwide
  • Develop new features, maintain existing ones, and support engineering infrastructure
  • Support internal and external users and contribute to developer documentation

Requirements

  • Strong software development skills using Java or C++
  • Experience writing quality code and understanding testing, code reviews, and static analysis
  • Good university degree in an engineering, scientific, or mathematical field or equivalent experience
