About the Role

As a Recovery Support Specialist with Archer Resourcing Ltd, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality support and care to individuals dealing with mental health issues and substance misuse.

The role involves working within the community and residential settings to facilitate recovery and promote independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-to-one and group support sessions to clients, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Develop, implement, and review individualized recovery plans, taking into account clients' unique needs and goals.
  • Support clients in developing coping strategies and skills for daily living, empowering them to take control of their lives.
  • Assist clients in accessing appropriate services and community resources, ensuring they receive the support they need.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' needs, identifying areas for improvement and developing targeted interventions.
  • Collaborate with clients to identify goals and develop action plans, promoting a sense of ownership and motivation.
  • Regularly review and update recovery plans based on clients' progress, ensuring they remain relevant and effective.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities, staying up-to-date with best practices and industry developments.
  • Attend regular supervision and team meetings, contributing to a culture of open communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Experience working with individuals with mental health issues and/or substance misuse, with a strong understanding of recovery principles and person-centered care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues alike.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meeting the needs of clients and the organization.
  • Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months, with a willingness to complete an enhanced DBS if you do not currently hold one.
