We are seeking an experienced Compute System Architect to join our team at imec in Cambridge, UK. As a principal memory subsystem architect, you will design and define memory subsystem organization and architecture for complex systems across various application domains.

About the Team

You will be part of a team that combines research, engineering, hardware modelling, and project leadership. The role involves working with open-source and/or in-house memory and system architecture modelling tools.

Key Responsibilities

">
  • You will optimize memory subsystem architecture for performance, power, area, and cost while guiding memory subsystem model development activities by researchers and engineers in the team.
  • You will lead platform integration, validation, and performance analysis efforts for memory and/or storage subsystems in a full system.

Requirements

">
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
  • 8+ years of experience in memory subsystem architecture and/or design.
  • Experience in designing memory subsystems for HPC, AI, Automotive, or similar domains.
  • Effective communication skills in English.
