Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Haywards Heath. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with learning disabilities and/or epilepsy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and support to individuals, including assistance with daily tasks, cooking, cleaning, and laundry.
  • Support individuals to maintain and develop social skills, promote independence, and encourage access to community facilities.
  • Assist with medication management, health care, and other medical needs.
  • Work collaboratively with the support team to ensure the well-being and safety of individuals.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation, including daily notes and support plans.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities and/or epilepsy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic mathematics and written skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and Bank Holidays.
