Our client is a well-established legal firm based in Glasgow City Centre. They pride themselves on providing exceptional legal services to their clients and are now seeking an additional dedicated Legal Administrator to join their team.
Job Summary
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Legal Administrator. As a key member of our administration team, you will be responsible for various administrative tasks to ensure the smooth running of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Answering incoming calls and handling general enquiries with professionalism and courtesy
- Managing incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring prompt and efficient processing
- Using the case management system to generate client invoices, maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely payments
- Processing expenses and ensuring accurate records, supporting financial transparency
- Managing client payments and maintaining up-to-date business rates, fostering strong client relationships
- Opening legal files and maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance with regulations
- Uploading and sending Terms of Business to clients, promoting clear communication
- Performing ID checks and compliance processes, upholding professional standards
- Assisting in drafting basic lease management and lease variation documents, contributing to business growth
- Ordering legal searches and obtaining copies of title deeds, supporting informed decision-making
Requirements
- Previous experience within a legal based role, with a proven track record of success
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships
- Proficiency in using case management systems, with a willingness to learn and adapt
- Attention to detail and accurate data entry, with a commitment to quality and accuracy
- Knowledge of legal processes and terminology, with a solid understanding of regulatory requirements
Desirable Skills
- Experience with drafting legal documents, with a focus on clarity and precision
- Familiarity with property law processes, with a deep understanding of relevant regulations
- Knowledge of compliance procedures, with a commitment to upholding professional standards
- Microsoft Office Suite proficiency, with a strong working knowledge of key software applications
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this role is £27,000 per annum, reflecting the importance of this position in supporting our team's success.
