About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical Professional to join our Perinatal Mental Health Service at Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care to women experiencing mental health issues during pregnancy and postnatally.

Job Description
  • Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum
  • Location: North West Essex (with occasional travel across Essex)
  • Job Type: Full-time

You will be responsible for working closely with colleagues from various disciplines, including medicine, nursing, and social work, to promote collaborative practice and improve patient outcomes. Your expertise will be essential in contributing to the development and implementation of service improvement initiatives and ensuring that our service meets the highest standards of quality and safety.

As a Senior Clinical Professional, you will have the opportunity to work on projects that aim to improve patient care and outcomes, as well as participate in quality assurance and improvement activities. You will also be involved in the development of policies and procedures, as well as working closely with stakeholders to promote partnership working and collaboration.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., psychology, nursing, social work)
  • Postgraduate qualification in a relevant field (e.g., clinical leadership, management)
  • At least 5 years' experience in a senior clinical role within a healthcare setting
  • Proven track record of leading teams and implementing service improvements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
