The purpose of this role is to contribute to the development and delivery of Value, Access and Policy strategies, tools and materials, to support CSL Vifor's commercial plans in the UK.

As a Market Access Strategist, you will work closely with medical, market access/HEOR, marketing and sales teams to build and deliver market access plans in line with brand critical success factors and strategic imperatives. This will involve creating optimal access for our in-market and launch products, building and managing relationships with key external payer stakeholders and co-designing projects to improve standards of care and access to medicines in CSL Vifor's disease areas.

This role requires a deep understanding of the NHS structures, funding flows, drivers and barriers for high-value medicines. You will be responsible for shaping and executing market access strategies and tactics, closely monitoring trends and changes in the NHS structure and operating model, defining implications for the business and informing the business in a timely manner.

You will also provide input into brand plans and deliver on market access elements within agreed budgets and timelines. Additionally, you will maintain a network of NHS, payer and other relevant stakeholder contacts, influence and mobilise internal business partners and external stakeholders to deliver initiatives that support access to CSL Vifor's pipeline and portfolio.

The successful candidate will have a degree in Sciences, Health Economics, Political Science, Law, Public Policy/Public Administration or similar. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Value and Access, ideally experience of company and/or NHS environments, is required. Pharmaceutical industry experience delivering value for high value medicines in secondary care therapy areas is highly desirable.

A demonstrable understanding of NHS, relevant commissioning and access bodies and funding processes for high-value medicines is essential. Experience of utilizing NHS data (HES, QOF) to evaluate the environment and identify opportunities, as well as executing market access tools and materials in the UK, are also required.

The salary range for this role is approximately £60,000-£80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
